The Director of Conservation is a new position at Legacy Land Trust and is funded for two years by a grant from Great Outdoors Colorado. After the two years are up, Legacy Land Trust intends to keep this position on, but it will be funding dependent. This position reports to the Executive Director and is tasked with the management of the conservation activities of the organization. The Director of Conservation will work with private landowners, government agencies, and other organizations to conserve important lands
as described in the 2009 Strategic Conservation Vision. The Director of Conservationsupervises the Stewardship Coordinator.
